Today I will sew a cute lion from felt. I love the color of lion, bright orange. Let see what I've done. And If you love it start to sew one for yourself.
Preparing:
scissors
felt: orange, yellow, brown, and light brown color, and violet for string. of course you can use your color.
needle.
thread (white + yellow)
2 small beads (to make his eyes)
2 small beads (to make his eyes)
draw a pattern as images below.
cotton.
sewing technique:
Step 1:
Let cut all parts of the head of lion.
Step 2:
Sew his muzzle on front and then sew his nose in front of. After that sew 2 beads on his face. very easy ;)
Step 3:
Stitch his hair on the face. Now we have a cute face.
Step 4:
Stitch 2 manes + back side + string together with the face we finished above. Don't forget to stuff your lion with coton. Your lion will gets a proper shape and size. Do not stuff more than its capacity. This may cause the lion burst.
